Due to recent network blips across all our locations, VXShield is undergoing maintenance to address the random interruptions affecting incoming UDP traffic. The most impacted locations are Chicago and Ashburn, though New York, the UK, Amsterdam, and Frankfurt are also affected.

During this maintenance, you may notice additional brief blips as routes are adjusted. These should last no more than one second and no significant downtime is expected. Once complete, this work will greatly improve overall stability across all locations.

Three days ago, we began receiving reports of random “packet loss” and “freezes.” Based on feedback from our valued clients, we believe we have identified the issue: one of our switches may require a restart, firmware upgrade, or a fiber cable swap. This would explain why only some clients experienced issues while others did not.

• We will be performing maintenance to address this.

• During the process, some clients may experience short blips or downtime.

• In the unlikely event that a router also needs to be restarted, all Frankfurt clients could be briefly affected.
